Why are you in Galveston?

The short answer is BEACH CON! The long answer would be that Galveston is a great place to hold a convention. Galveston is situated in the right spot to take advantage of the big city benefits that Houston provides while also being able to leave behind the headaches. There are so many places to stay, eat and explore on Galveston Island and you can do this all for a reasonable price. For more information on Galveston please see our Location section.

What can I do here?

A whole lot! Oni-Con offers many things to do. These include anime viewing rooms, a manga lounge, table top and card gaming, an arcade, contests, dances, demonstrations, a masquerade and all sorts of panels to go to. If that’s not enough we also bring in guests of all kinds both domestic and international and don’t forget the Dealers Room and Artist Alley. You can also just walk around and see all the amazing people (yes that means you) that come every year, the amazing cosplay and the awesome J-Fashion.

Where can I suggest guests?

We have a Guest Suggestion form for that! (Coming Soon)
